I am often asked “What’s Raw Ingredients.” Raw Ingredients is a home based natural skincare company, created in 2009. The product line includes body butters made with jojoba oil & chamomile extract. Other products include shea butter body scrubs and handmade soap. The company was created in response to my own skin care needs. Growing weary after suffering from eczema, dealing with dry, sensitive skin and trying over the counter products which simply didn’t work, I decided to research ingredients that would address those needs.
The products are unique because they can be customized and hand blended according to your preferences. Since this is a new company, customers also have the unique opportunity to suggest any fragrances or products that they would like to purchase in the future. Clients are essentially creating the brand.
Formerly trained as a beauty advisor, I have experience working with major natural skincare brands such as Kiehl’s, in addition to several cosmetic lines. I received my B.A.in Communication Arts from the College of New Rochelle. My passion for beauty products combined with years of customer service and a strong retail background also served as an inspiration for the line.
Raw Ingredients is based in Bronx, New York. The company has participated as a featured vendor in the Bronx Week Festival, Shecky’s Girls Night Out, and the Run the Runway Fashion Show Competition.
Raw Ingredients has been well received in the marketplace as new skincare line and was awarded a Trickle Up Grant for initial product research & development. We were recently interviewed by The A.U.D.R.A Catalog and have established a growing online presence .
The future for Raw Ingredients is bright, seeking to create a lifestyle brand, retail store and spa as well as working with nonprofit organizations such as Sanctuary for Families. We believe that everyone deserves to be pampered, so why not treat yourself to something special?
