“I’m changing the world, one word at a time, and looking good doing it,” says world-renowned author, poet, philosopher Monique A. Williams. The artist formerly known as MoMo Willy has self-published three very different books (Neurotica, The momowilly Experience, and Mo’losophy). She has performed her award-winning poetry (The Real: AIDS and Babies) and delivered empowering speeches across the country. She produced and hosted her own conscious hiphop and community news radio show (The Experience with momowilly) and produced and starred in an online reality show chronicling her journeys along the East coast (The Wonderful World of MoMo Willy). In addition to her own personal blog (MoMo Speaks!), Monique A. Williams is the editor-in-chief of a new urban lifestyle blog (The Show TV) and is now a contributing writer for Soul Kisses TV and Diary of a True Diva. In her spare time, she is developing scripts for the silver screen and television and putting the finishing touches on her one-woman play. Monique A. Williams has consistently proven her diversity and multiplicity, which are key for longevity, and she has no intention of stopping now.
